Based in Mangawhai, we bring over 15 years of experience in the building industry and a genuine passion for quality craftsmanship. 
As Licensed Building Practitioners, we're committed to delivering exceptional results while making the building process enjoyable and straightforward for our clients.

The name Old Soul was first dreamt up in 2017, when Jordan fell in love with the art of crafting retro-style surfboards. Drawn to the details, patience, and stories behind every board, he developed an appreciation for craftsmanship that goes beyond simply building something, it's about creating something with character and purpose.

Bringing that same passion into the construction world felt like a natural step. The tools may have changed, but the values remain the same: quality workmanship, attention to detail, and pride in a job well done.

Our motto, "New Age Carpentry, Old School Vibe," reflects exactly who we are. We combine modern building methods and innovative design with old-school values like honesty, reliability, and genuine relationships.

We're especially passionate about unique, character-filled projects. 
From architectural homes and bespoke renovations to creative outdoor spaces, we love working on builds that have personality and push beyond the ordinary.
